Can I use Permitted Development (PD)?

Permitted development rights are essentially a scheme, created by the Government, that allows you to extend/renovate your home without the need for a full planning application.

In order to qualify, both your home and project must adhere to strict guidelines. This means they won’t be right for everyone. However, by ticking the right boxes, it can be a great way to get around fussy and subjective planning departments.
