Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. By visiting our website located at resi.co.uk (our site), you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.

Resi Design Ltd is the data controller (we, us or Resi) of the personal information we hold about you. We are a limited company registered in England and Wales with company registration number 10471125. Our registered office address is Unit 118 Workspace Kennington Park 1-3 Brixton Road, Canterbury Court, London, England, SW9 6DE. We are registered as a data controller with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under data protection registration number ZA274845.

Information we may collect from you

The table at Annex 1 below sets out the categories of personal information we collect about you and how we use that information. The table also lists the legal basis which we rely on to process the personal information.

More generally, we may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information you give to us.
    • This is information about you that you give to us by filling in forms on our site or by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise. It includes information you provide when you register to use our site, use our service, place an order with us, enter a competition, take part in a promotion or survey, and when you report a problem with our site.
    • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
    • We may record inbound and outbound phone calls for training and monitoring purposes.
  • Information we collect about you.
    • With regard to each of your visits to our site, we may automatically collect certain technical information (this is data about our users’ browsing actions), as well as certain information about your visit to our site.
    • For customers that purchase a Measured Survey we will collect detailed measurements of your property in the form of hand sketches or a 3D point cloud. We will also take high definition photos of the inside and outside of the property. This data will be used to complete the design services you purchase from us and may be shared with relevant third parties as part of this work.
  • Information we receive from other sources.
    • We may receive information about you if you use any of the other websites we operate, or the other services we provide, from time to time. In this case, we will have informed you when we collected the data that it may be shared internally and combined with data collected on our site.
    • We also work closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers and search information providers) and may receive information about you from them.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to distinguish you from other users of our site. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you use our site and also allows us to improve our site. For detailed information on the cookies we use and the purposes for which we use them, see our Cookie Policy.

Interest based advertising

We may participate in interest-based advertising and use third party advertising companies to serve you targeted advertisements based on your online browsing history and your interests. To do this, we or our advertising partners may collect information about how you use or connect to our services, or the types of other websites, social media services, content and ads that you (or others using your device) visit or view or connect to our services so that we or our advertising partners may play or display ads on our services you may use, and on other devices you may use.

Typically, but not always, this information is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies. We and our third party partners use this information to make the advertisements you see online more relevant to your interests, as well as to provide advertising-related services such as reporting, attribution, analytics and market research.

To learn about interest-based advertising and how you may be able to opt-out of some of this advertising and to limit some third party advertising cookies, you may wish to visit:

  • Your Online Choices (YOC): (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/)
  • Network Advertising Initiative (NAI): (http://www.networkadvertising.org/)
  • Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA): (http://www.aboutads.info/consumers)

Please note that opting-out of receiving interest-based advertising through the NAI’s and DAA’s or YOC’s online resources will only opt-out a user from receiving interest-based ads on that specific browser or device, but the user may still receive interest-based ads on their other devices. You must perform the opt-out on each browser or device you use.

Some of these opt-outs may not be effective unless your browser is set to accept cookies. If you delete cookies, change your browser settings, switch browsers or computers, or use another operating system, you will need to opt-out again.
